Kids Create workshops, for children ages 7-12, encourage learning about the visual arts, maritime and historical traditions. This workshop includes a thoughtful gallery discussion to accompany hands-on origami art projects inspired by the Out of the Vault exhibition, which showcases art and artifacts from the Museum’s permanent history and maritime collection. Kids will use what they have learned through visual observation and discussion to fold their way to creating colorful origami boats and ships! All materials are provided!
